Born and raised in Philadelphia Pa, Chef Meek grew up in a single parent home being the oldest child of three. Learning how to cook was very important to her because she didn't experience much home cooking as a child. She was drawn to every kitchen she was able to learn from as a young adult asking questions and assisting whenever she could. Collecting recipies and recreating them became a hobby she loved.

Chef Meek didn't take her cooking profession very serious until her adult years . Right out of high school she became a cosmetologist which was another career she was passionate about. However she never strayed too far from the restaurant industry. Being sought out for her leadership potential, she quickly elevated to management status in restaurants such as Gladys Knights Chicken & Waffles in Atlanta Ga, Boston Market in Philadelphia Pa and Milk and Honey in Atlanta Ga.

In 2018, Chef Meek decided it was time to evolve. She created her catering and meal prep company after having many request. Realizing that cooking was a form of therapy, she expressed her passion and love through her dishes and customer service. The love she has is felt through every bite her customers take. Chef Meek has had the opportunity to service some influential people, Celebrity Stylist Anthony Henderson (R.I.P), Award Winning Gospel Singer Duranice Pace (R.I.P), Angie Stone, Celebrity Barber and Influencer Kenny Duncan (Barbers Who Care), Devale and Khadeen Ellis (Sistas by Tyler Perry, Pastor Preashea Hilliard @Midnight, amongst others. She was highlighted in the December 2021 issue of Voyage ATL online magazine.

Chef Meek was blessed to be able to complete and self publish her first of many books. In 2021, she released an autobiography cookbook titled Blended; The Anatomy of Chef Meek. In this book she revisit some very influential stories of events that took place in her personal life that contributed to the women and career women she is today. Each story is paired with a delicious recipe that is guaranteed to satisfy your tastebuds. You can visit amazon to purchase that book.

In her spare time, Chef Meek enjoys spending quality time with friends and family. Helping out her ministry in any way and giving back to the community. At the start of the pandemic, God gave her strict instructions to feed the hospital staff at Grady Hospital in Atlanta Ga. Over the course of one month, she donated 200 meals to the emergency room night staff and 50 meals to Emory Decatur. With her previous business The Preparation Station, she joined forces with friends to supply meals and clothing to the homeless in Philadelphia. One of the highlights was providing a full thanksgiving feast at city hall serving over 100 people.

Her dreams include opening a family style restaurant and relaunching her previous business that she owned with her best friend, The Preparation Station. The Preparation Station is a safe space for the homeless population and those in need to clean up, receive fresh clean cloths and partake in a hot meal. Stay tuned. The best is yet to come!
